Controller
Afiaera Europe SIA, registration number 40203750854, Līvciema iela 57–134, Rīga, LV-1058, Latvia, is the controller when it decides why and how personal data is processed.
Data we collect
Depending on your relationship with DAY1WORK, we may collect contact details; work history, skills, certificates and availability; assessment and reference data; opportunity and process information; partner due-diligence data; technical data; and communications or safety data. Special-category and criminal-record data are collected only where strictly necessary, lawful and proportionate.
Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide requested services, manage worker profiles and potential opportunities, verify information, support employer and partner due diligence, prevent fraud, secure the Platform, meet legal obligations and handle claims or complaints.
Matching and automated tools
DAY1WORK may use tools to extract skills from text or voice, translate information, identify incomplete fields and compare profiles with employer criteria. Suggestions are indicators, not proof of suitability. We do not intend to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Sharing and international transfers
Data may be shared only with relevant employers, authorised partners, referees, verification providers, hosting and communications providers, advisers, insurers, auditors and authorities where appropriate. Transfers outside the EEA will use an applicable adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures, or another lawful mechanism.
Retention, rights and security
We retain data only as long as needed for the purpose, legal obligations, fraud prevention or claims. Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, withdraw consent, or request human review. DAY1WORK uses proportionate access controls, encryption in transit, role-based permissions, logging, backups, vendor review and incident procedures.
