# Day1Work Day1Work is the local marketplace app for everyday work. Post a task, choose who does it, pay securely in the app. Earners keep 95% of what they earn. Day1Work operates under iQra OÜ (registry code 17616277). Address: Poldri tn 3/1, Tallinn 10154, Estonia. Day1Work is owned and operated by iQra OÜ, Estonia. The Day1Work mobile application is published by Meaningful Technology UAB, Lithuania, under authorization from iQra OÜ. ## What Day1Work is Post what you need. Earn when it suits you. Day1Work connects people who need something done with people nearby who can do it — dog sitting, cleaning, moving help, tutoring, gardening, small repairs and more. Post a task in minutes, choose who you work with, and pay securely in the app. It is a marketplace app: people post tasks, people nearby offer to do them, and payment is protected in the app until the work is done. ## The two sides ### Need a hand? Post your task with the time, place and budget you have in mind. Compare offers from people nearby, chat in the app, and pay only when the work is done. - Post in minutes — photo, place, time and budget - See offers from people near your saved area - Chat and agree the details before anyone starts - Pay in the app when you are happy with the work ### Want to earn? Turn your free hours into income. Pick the tasks you want, set your own availability, and keep 95% of what you earn. - Work when it suits you — evenings, weekends, gaps between things - Choose your own radius and only see tasks near you - Get paid securely in the app when the task is done - Build a profile and reviews that bring you more work ## What people get done - Dog sitting and walking (/use-cases/dog-sitting): A sitter who fits your week, not the other way around. Your dog stays at home and in its routine while you are away. - Home cleaning (/use-cases/home-cleaning): A clean home on the day you choose. A regular cleaner you actually chose, at a price you agreed. - Moving and delivery help (/use-cases/moving-help): Extra hands exactly when the van arrives. The move finishes on time without paying agency prices. - Tutoring and lessons (/use-cases/tutoring): Help with the subject that is not clicking. Progress that is measured in grades, not in promises. - Gardening and outdoor help (/use-cases/gardening): A garden you can enjoy again. The outside of your home looking after itself again. - Handyman and small repairs (/use-cases/small-repairs): The small jobs that never get done. The list on your fridge is finally empty. ## How it works From posting to paid in four steps. 1. Post the task — Say what you need, where, when and roughly what you want to pay. Add a photo if it helps. It takes a couple of minutes. 2. Compare people nearby — People near your saved browsing area see the task and offer to do it. You see their profiles, reviews and prices before you decide. 3. Chat and agree — Use in-app chat to fix the details — the time, the tools, the price. Nothing is committed until you both agree. 4. Pay and review — Payment is protected in the app. Money is released when the work is done, and both sides leave a review that builds trust for next time. Your hours, your prices, your area. You choose which tasks to offer for, how far you are willing to travel, and when you are available. Day1Work does not assign you work or set your hours. ## Fees The lowest fees we could build. No subscriptions, no listing fees, no monthly plans. You pay when a task is actually completed. - Day1Work commission: 5%. Taken from the task price when a task is completed. The person doing the work keeps 95%. - Protection fee: 2.5%. Paid by the person posting the task. It covers protected payments, disputes and support. - Card processing: At cost. 2.9% + 0.30 in the country currency, passed through at cost by our payment provider. No hidden charges There are no subscriptions, no listing fees and no charge for changing your mind before a task is agreed. Every payment amount is shown in the app before you confirm. A €50 task, in full - Task price: €50.00 - Day1Work commission (5%): €2.50 - The person doing the work receives: €47.50 - Poster pays €50.00 + 2.5% protection + card processing at cost Most marketplaces take 15% to 25% from the person doing the work, or charge posters to be seen. Day1Work takes 5% and shows you every fee before you agree. ## Control - Your browsing area: Save the area you actually work or live in. Use my location is a button you press, not something that follows you around. - Your radius: See tasks nearby first, then widen the search when you want to. You decide how far is worth travelling. - Who you work with: Offers are not assigned to you. You compare people and choose the one you want. - Your language: 27 languages, switchable at sign-up and in Settings, so the app speaks the language you think in. - Your money: Payments run through protected in-app checkout, with a record of every task and payout. - Your account: Block and report anyone, and delete your account and data from inside the app whenever you want. ## Safety and payments A marketplace only works when both sides feel safe. These are the pieces Day1Work puts in place. - Protected payments: Money is held in the app and released when the task is completed, so nobody has to pay cash to a stranger. - Reviews that stick: Both sides review each other after every task, so good work and good behaviour follow people. - In-app chat: Agree the details in writing inside Day1Work. If something goes wrong, the conversation is right there. - Block and report: One tap to block someone or report a task, message or profile. Reports reach human moderators. - Disputes and support: If a task does not go to plan, raise it in the app and the team helps resolve it. - Privacy by default: Your location is used for matching, not for tracking. Delete your account and your data from the app. ## Where it works Day1Work operates across the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Switzerland.
